With over 25 years’ experience as an independent mortgage and protection adviser, providing a customer first approach has underpinned the success of my career. Starting as a Financial Adviser in 1998 with Britannic Assurance, where I gained the full financial planning certificates, and subsequently joining Mortgage Advice Bureau from 2001 to 2008, the experiences gained enabled me to set up my own business in 2009; Phil Miller Ltd was established and set up under Positive Solutions.
In 2015 the volume of work saw a significant increase and as more staff were employed and ‘Miller Financial Planning’ was established. Miller Financial Planning have a team of experienced mortgage advisors including myself. Our team are here to help look after our clients applications from submission through to completion. Our customer first ethos is reflected in our service where we provide face to face, out of hours meetings in the customer’s home. We understand the difficulties customers face when purchasing a home and have found that the face to face approach is very successful in helping to explain the process. We also recognise the importance of speed and efficiency needed within the mortgage and protection market.
As a company we strive to build lasting relationships with our customers and in turn assist them in re-mortgaging and ongoing servicing. Recognition of our ‘excellence’ in customer service is reflected in the ‘Independent adviser of the year’ award which was received 2 years in a row. With the support of our case managers we offer an efficient service and believe that communication with all parties is key to successful business relationships and happy customers.
In my free time I take pleasure in spending time with my wife and 3 children. We have rescued 2 beautiful black Labradors and love taking them on long country walks. I have a keen interest in Formula 1 and also enjoy building Expert Lego sets.
